Data management is becoming an increasingly important concern for philanthropic organizations, which collect diverse data from multiple sources in an effort to raise public awareness of certain issues and influence policymaking. For years, Paul worked with one of the world’s largest philanthropic organizations to build and customize their CKAN data portal that would allow them to share data internally and with external stakeholders. In his capacity as Product Owner for the delivery team and Strategy Consultant to the client leadership, Paul defined the product direction and provided practical expertise on best approaches to complex technical features like data versioning and access permissioning.
