We worked with clinical trial data stakeholders to improve access to medical research through the online platform Open Trials.
Multiple clinical trials carried out worldwide don’t publish their results. This is despite the fact that this data could be speeding up other trials elsewhere and providing medical researchers and practitioners with valuable information. Open Trials is a response to this crisis, providing an online data portal that aims to locate and share all publicly-accessible data and documents on all medicines and medical trials. While working at the Open Knowledge Foundation, Paul acted as Project Manager and Technical Architect for the Open Trials project, overseeing the overall project direction while implementing many of the technical features.
